Matters of the Heart, Inc. has steadily become a leader in providing the necessities of life to those who need our assistance. We strive to build and maintain relationships with people susceptible to low income, poverty, and social class immobility within these communities. We are a Non-Profit Organization passionate about helping people, irrespective of their background, religion, or race.
Over time, we have engaged with those who need someone to believe in them—giving up on themselves with no hope of things ever getting better. They live each day without cause to keep on living and take each day as it comes without really living it. Some believe that things will get better but have no one to support or assist them in getting the maximum best out of what they have at their disposal. At the same time, others need a guide in this life journey.
Our general focus is towards developing people in every conceivable sphere of their lives. We train people to be self-aware, increasing their capacity to be self-reliant, positioning them to make positive changes in their societies. As a faith-based organization, we focus not just on the physical well-being of an individual but also each individual's spiritual and mental well-being.

As a faith-based 501 (c)(3) organization, our primary focus at Matters of the Heart, Inc. is to ensure we make the world a better place by catering to the needs of communities in the state of Louisiana. We endeavor to bring joy to the hearts of those who need our services. Every person deserves to have their essential needs, and we contribute towards this cause. We provide shelter for the families living on the streets; we also offer food, clothes, care packages, and blankets. We also make avenues for self-empowerment and development for individuals at the bedrock of society.
