Matters of the Heart, Inc. is a faith-based 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to creating a balanced relationship between individuals, families, and the community. Founded in 2011, Matters of the Heart continues to build communities, one home at a time.
Our Work
Every continent on the planet has had its fair share of wars, conflicts, and natural disasters, leading to many untold hardships for the affected communities. As a Not-for-Profit Organization, our focus stems from a variety of humanitarian activities to provide relief wherever and whenever we can.
Feeding Program
As many as 811 million people go to bed hungry each night, about 9.9% of the world’s population.
Housing Program
The availability of proper housing is still a significant issue in the 21st century.
Health Program Initiative
Half of the world’s population, a whopping 3.5 billion people, lack access to essential health services.
Juvenile Program
The population of young people worldwide is about 7.2 billion, with 90 percent living in developing countries.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build strong communities by providing skill-building tools, resources, and support groups. We develop programs and unite with other organizations in the community. With this approach, we can create a vibrant, well-balanced atmosphere.
We prepare individuals for wholeness using a Spirit-Filled approach. We position these individuals to achieve prosperity in various areas of their life; spiritual, soul, and body. We can provide the truth that heals the soul through our spiritual process. We build solid Individuals and strong Families. Our philosophy is to share God’s love by providing for the needs of others.

About us
Matters of the Heart, Inc. has steadily become a leader in providing the necessities of life to those who require our assistance.
We strive to build and maintain relationships with people susceptible to low income, poverty, and social class immobility within these communities. We are a Non-Profit Organization passionate about helping people, irrespective of their background, religion, or race. Over time, we have engaged with those who need someone to believe in them—giving up on themselves with no hope of things ever getting better. They live each day without cause to keep on living and take each day as it comes without really living it.

Impact
Here at Matters of the Heart, Inc., through our involvement with other outreach organizations, in the provision of shelter, this effort has created homes for multiple families. We are constantly taking many children, women, and men off the streets to educate and position them to become positive citizens to their communities at large.
We are facilitating community growth by empowering its members. A community succeeds only when its members are empowered to make it grow, and that’s what we are doing – Helping individuals and our communities thrive.
